Are you ready to crusade against the camp of the Enemy? If not there’s still time to prepare for a major evangelistic move set to win souls for the kingdom of Christ.

The Mineral Heights roundabout in May Pen, Clarendon, will be the scene of a mega summer campaign planned by the Central Jamaica Conference (CJC) with spirited, Bible-based evangelist Pastor Everett Smith from Sunday, June 18 to Saturday, July 15.

The four-week gospel series will host nightly meetings from Sunday to Wednesday at 7:15 pm and Sabbath services starting at 9:15 am. The topic for the opening night is ‘Creation Groans’.

Evangelist Smith brings forty years of experience as a pastor and family counsellor to the podium. He has channelled his passionate and commanding preaching into many evangelistic campaigns and seen over eight thousand persons give their lives to Christ. He currently serves as director of the Community Services and Publishing Ministries at the CJC.

Five church districts are collaborating to host the campaign: May Pen pastored by Kemel O’Hara, Denbigh pastored by Delroy Bicknell, Halse Hall pastored by Conrade Graham, New Longville pastored by Andre Lewis and Palmers Cross pastored by Jason Miller. The team also includes online Bible worker, Orlando Owen.

Three powerful street meetings have been conducted in the lead-up to the campaign. The first was held in Palmers Cross on May 27 with speaker Pastor Kevan Barnaby, ministerial secretary & assistant to the president at CJC. The second was held on June 3 in Savannah Cross with speaker Pastor Robert Williams, Senior Pastor of the Spanish Town District of SDA churches. The final meeting was held June 10, in Denbigh with speaker Jeffrey Harriott, International Evangelist and ordained elder in the East Jamaica Conference.
