The Seventh-day Adventist Church, Central Jamaica Conference, during an executive committee meeting held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, voted for the appointment of a new director and two coordinators to serve the church, with immediate effect.
Dr Alindo George McCallum was appointed the Ministerial Secretary and Stewardship Director.
Pastor Coniel Morgan has been appointed Possibilities Ministries Coordinator and Pastor Onell Montaque Parish Coordinator, for St. Catherine.
The new appointments and assignments included other changes. Dr Barrington McLean, director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministries, will now also serve as Men's Ministries director.
Dr Kemar Douglas will assume the role of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) and Spirit of Prophecy director, whilst maintaining his office as Health Ministries director.
Pastor Robert Williams, of the Spanish Town district of Seventh-day Adventist churches, was voted to serve as Assistant to President for Evangelism.
Miss Roxanne White joins the communication team as a technical producer, effective July 1, 2023.
