Builders League launched in CJC; first-of-its-kind in JAMU
In an unprecedented move, the Central Jamaica Conference (CJC) has launched its Builders League, the first such conference association in the Jamaica Union (JAMU), to enable efficient coordination of skills and resources for CJC building projects. It was launched Sunday, March 10 at the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church in May Pen under the theme, ‘His Blueprint’.
First Jamaican Adventist School Goes Fully Solar
The Willowdene Group of School (WGS) is Jamaica's first fully solar energy-efficient Seventh-day Adventist school. The 11.5M Jamaican dollar solar energy solution gift was officially handed over to the school from the WGS Alumni Association on Friday, February 2, 2024.
CJC certifies 100 Children and Adolescents Ministries Leaders
Over 100 Children Ministry leaders and assistants, as well as Vacation Bible School (VBS) coordinators, were trained and certified to minister in an intentional way to our children, at a Children Ministry Leaders Workshop and Consultation. The event, hosted by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Central Jamaica Conference (CJC), was held at the May Pen S.D.A. Church on February 4, 2024.
