The Women’s Ministries Department develops strategies
network, planning and implementing programmes relevant
to the needs and development of women Conference wide.
The church membership is also kept informed through
reports, letters, seminars, retreats, workers’ meetings
and church visits.
The department has three women’s action groups one
located in the parish of Clarendon, Saint Catherine and
Manchester. These
groups are responsible to carry out the activities for
the women at that level. These
groups plan and incorporate the events of each calendar
activity for the benefit of the women, this includes social,
economic and spiritual enrichment.
The department plans to
conduct surveys to determine the needs of the women in the
churches of the Conference, to encourage Women’s Ministries
Coordinators to include inactive members/groups in current
programmes, which will act as a stimulant for them.
