Pastor
Vincent Arthur Lawrence
(Uncle Vin)
B.A.-Theology
January 14, 1925-December 6, 2006
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I am thy
God: I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; yea I will uphold
thee with the right hand of my righteousness”
Isaiah 41:10
It is not often in life that we get to rub shoulders with someone
who has been a part of creating history, to live and work alongside
someone who had the vision to see what others could not and who
believed when others did not. That singular perseverance and that
commitment is what legends are made of. Pastor Vincent Arthur
Lawrence served as a legendary minister of the gospel/literature
evangelist for over 50 years. His years of service to the church
have been highly recognized and esteemed and will forever lie within
the hearts of each individual who made contact with him.
Pastor Lawrence was a man of great integrity, high morals, well
respected in each avenue of life and foremost a man that loved the
Lord. He served the Central Jamaica Conference for over 30 years
where he continued to demonstrate his passion for the church and his
zeal to win souls for the Master.

that one day we will all meet with Pastor Lawrence and all the
saints of old as we live for eternity in the earth made new with our
