Jamaica's Golden Anniversary
By Renee Rhoden
Am I asleep or am I awake?
Somebody pinch me because this must be a mistake.
It's a new day in our country let the adventure begin.
Let us touch every thing in our path and make a difference.
It's Jamaica's Golden Anniversary.
Let us empower our self with loveAnd meet each other soul to soul,With dancing heart.
Let us be like mother, father, sister, brother to each other.
It's Jamaica's Golden Anniversary.
When there are trials we stick together.
Let us learn to trust, communicate, comfort and respect each other.
You should never feel neglected or unappreciated even when we disagree or argue.
True love possess the power to abide, provide and never divide.
It's Jamaica's Golden Anniversary.
