Central Jamaica Appoints New Auditor and Accountant

Lincoln Allen and Jasper Burke have been appointed to the position of auditor and accountant respectively. The Executive Committee made the appointments after the departure of the Koral Allen and Jeffrey Burrell.

Both Allen and Burke were former employees of this Conference, serving in the similar capacities, but for different reasons they had to break the ties briefly. When the Conference was divided in 2002, Bro Allen the auditor for St. Mary was seeded to the new field, North Jamaica Mission. Burke on the other hand took a leave of absence to pursue his educational goals.

Lincoln Allen replaces Koral Allen (no immediate relation), who was appointed recently as an Assistant Treasurer for West Indies Union Conference. He will take over the same portfolio, auditor for the churches within St. Catherine. Jasper Burke replaces Jeffrey Burrell, who has taken a leave of absence.

Pastors and Conference leaders greet Mr. And Mrs. Jeffrey Burrell and Mr. Koral Allen at their farewell dinner held at Central Jamaica Conference office.

The Conference expressed confidence in their reappointment, while in the same breath sadness for those that are leaving. In a farewell dinner held in the honour of Jeffrey Burrell and Koral Allen, Pastor Everett Brown, President of Central Jamaica Conference, expressed thanks on behalf of the Conference for their dedicated service over the years and best wishes for their future endeavours.
