CJC Installation Service


The Newly elected Administrators, Directors and Executive Committee of Central Jamaica Conference were officially installed into office on Sabbath, July 22, 2006, beginning at 3:30 pm. The grand installation service took place at the Portmore SDA church, with West Indies Union representatives, Leaders of other Conferences in Jamaica and scores of members attending. Officials at the service were: Dr. Patrick Allen, President W.I.U., Pastor Derek Bignall, Executive Secretary, W.I.U., Pastor Herman Ming, Treasurer, W.I.U., Pastor Enell Hall, Vice president, W.I.U., and Pastor Milton Gregory, Vice President W.I.U.

The programme was highly spiritual with songs, prayers, a liturgy, and homily from Dr. Patrick Allen. Following a special ceremony of signing the leadership pledge by the three C.J.C. Administrators, (Pastor Everett Brown, President, Pastor Levi Johnson, Secretary, and Elder Billy Watson, Treasurer), the new Administration was greeted and welcomed by the Fields and Institutions Presidents within W.I.U.

The closing address/response was given by the President of C.J.C., Pastor Everett Brown. Prior to this meeting, Pastors Orlando Patterson and Jonathan Miller were appointed by the new Conference Executive Committee to perform the tasks of Ministerial Secretary and Community Services Directors respectively.
