Communication has become a ‘high tech” activity with the advent of radio, satellites, The Internet and email, television, newspaper, Cameras, tape recorders, telephones, fax machines, and computers have made it possible for the communication media to spread more information over large territories rapidly.

The Central Jamaica Conference’s Communication department proposes to take these tools and to use the various media outlets to make a favorable impression on the local and international communities.

The Recording Studio of Central Jamaica Conference is now in full operation.

Since the first quarter of 2003, we undertook the responsibility to produce and record three programmes that we broadcast on Love F.M. (a local religious radio station). These programs are: Morning Manna, Heralds of Hope and Life Line.

The Radio Program Schedule is as follows: Morning Manna -- 5:45 a.m. on Fridays, Heralds of Hope – 2:15 p.m. on Saturdays, Life Line – 5:30 p.m. on Sundays.

We have also started to Record devotionals, which will be available on compact discs or audio Cassettes. Coming on stream will be the recording of the Sabbath School Lesson (audio) and departmental seminars (video).

The Communication Department is exploring an avenue to make available to our members video programs that will enhance the growing and nurturing of our members. Programs such as musicals, sermons, interviews and documentaries are being considered.
