Central Jamaica Conference laud Administrative Professionals

April 23, 2008 was the date set aside to celebrate the work of Administrative Professionals under the theme ‘Administrative Professionals:- The Hallmark of Professional Excellence.’

Pastor Everett Brown, President of Central Jamaica Conference lauded the Administrative Professionals for the job they are doing, noting that they often go above the call of duty. He stated that the work they perform is invaluable to the organization.

Ms. Rosalee Knight, President / CEO of Hospitality Management Institute, speaking at the training session for the Administrative Professionals at Central Jamaica Conference. She was speaking on the topic ‘A Commitment to Excellence and Outstanding Service’.

A training session and luncheon was conducted for Administrative Professionals at conference headquarters. The training session presenter was Ms. Rosalee Knight, President / CEO of Hospitality Management Institute, and she spoke on the theme ‘A Commitment to Excellence and Outstanding Service.’

Ms. Knight pointed out that the focus must be on the customer at all times, anticipating their needs, and seeing to the smallest details of their comfort, care and satisfaction. She stated that, “Excellent service comes from the heart and we must be passionate and caring as we serve our clients.”

Pastor Levi Johnson, Secretary of Central Jamaica Conference and coordinator of the day’s activities, stated that, “As we seek to provide quality service to our internal and external customers, we must seek and embrace every opportunity to raise the bar of service.”

At the luncheon the Administrative Professionals were served by the Administrators and Directors of the Conference. After the luncheon they received a gift and commendations given for their outstanding work.

“The day was quite nice,” stated Mrs. Claudette Grant, Administrative Professional to the President. “The training session was refreshing, reinforcing the values of customer service.”
In commenting on the training session Mrs. Barbara Miller, Administrative Professional to the Secretary said, “The session was highly motivational. It made me have a deeper comment to serving at top class, noting that excellent service is not so much an outward show but it comes from within. It comes from the heart.”
